Arkansas Wild Plants #3

KorganIconHere is the third of the Arkansas wild plant posts. I post another five pictures of wild plants here in Arkansas and you try to identify what they are, leaving your information in the comments. Click on images for larger images. Nobody reads this shit.

Here are Arkansas Wild Plants #1 and #2.

  1. You should wash out your mouth with soap.
The first one is poke. The third one is sumac. Not sure about the others.

  2. I wish I knew the one in our back woods.
Its a vine. It has a large leaf with points. And it has some fruit on it here and about the size of a man's thumb. In shady woodsy area where we have seen deer. Any ideas?

  3. "You should wash out your mouth with soap."

    I hope you're kidding.

  4. So you ARE down south:)
Second 1 looks like some variety of clumping bamboo..
the last 1 is a trip! Never seen it before..
if it was blue it would be growing at smurfettes house :)
Still grooving on your has inspired me! I think a blog is what has been missing from my life:)
now I just have to figure out how to go about doing that..
